Vacancies
Not announced
The previous cycle — Revenue and Disaster Management Department advertisement F-1-24/2020/7-3 dated 25 Feb 2022 — advertised 301 Patwari training posts across 24 districts and let a candidate apply only against the district named in their local-resident certificate; no current-cycle count is published.
Education
12th
Under the previous cycle's advertisement: a Higher Secondary (10+2) pass from a recognised board; a computer qualification from a government, semi-government or recognised institution; and at least a one-year diploma or certificate in programming with a data-entry speed of 5,000 key depressions per hour. Only computer certificates accepted by the Chhattisgarh General Administration Department count, and successful local-resident candidates from Scheduled Areas get one year to produce that certificate (2022 advertisement, clause 4).
Age
In the previous cycle a candidate had to be at least 18 and not more than 40 years old on 1 January of the cycle year, with General Administration Department relaxations that can never take the maximum beyond 45 years (2022 advertisement, clause 6); the current cycle's cut-off date will be restated in its own notice.
Relaxations and cut-off dates are category-specific.
Application fee
Chhattisgarh's General Administration Department order F 10-2/2022/एक(1) dated 8 April 2022 exempts the state's local-resident participants from the examination fee for board examinations, and order RULE-8/2/2024-GAD-1 dated 21 April 2025 defines that exempt 'participant' as a candidate who actually appears at the examination or interview. These orders post-date the 2022 Patwari advertisement, and the amount payable by candidates from outside Chhattisgarh will be fixed in the next cycle's own advertisement.
Use the official payment instructions only.
Pay
Pay Matrix Level-6 under the Chhattisgarh Finance Department's circular 372/260/vi/ni/four/2020 dated 29 July 2020, plus approved allowances, payable only once one year of departmental training and the departmental examination lead to appointment as Patwari (2022 advertisement, clause 5).
Gross and in-hand pay vary by posting and allowance.
