Basic eligibility paths

• ✓Post codes 01/26 to 20/26 cover several departments, local and autonomous bodies of the Government of NCT of Delhi, so eligibility must be read against the individual post-code entry and any corrigendum.
• ✓Essential and desirable educational qualification, experience, pay scale and age limit are printed post-code-wise in the vacancy notice; the recruitment rules of the indenting department govern.
• ✓Reserved-category vacancies are counted against reserved posts, and candidates counted there are deemed unavailable for consideration against unreserved vacancies (para 6 of the advertisement).
• ✓Applications are accepted only online through https://dsssbonline.nic.in; the link is disabled after the closing date.

Relaxations & certificates

• SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and ex-servicemen relaxations follow the applicable notification.
• Always check the certificate format and cut-off date in the official notice.

Selection stages

1. 1One-tier or two-tier written examination as prescribed for the post code in the examination scheme (para 4 of the advertisement)
2. 2Skill or endurance test where the post code prescribes one
3. 3Document verification and final merit

Syllabus snapshot

• Examination scheme para 4 of advertisement 02/2026: for a One Tier (General) post code, the paper is 2 hours, 200 MCQs of one mark each carrying 200 marks with no descriptive component.
• The One Tier (General) paper covers General Awareness; General Intelligence & Reasoning ability; Arithmetical & Numerical Ability; Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension; and Test of English Language & Comprehension.
• Post codes placed under other tiers follow the tier and syllabus printed against them in the same examination-scheme table; read the row for the chosen post code.
• Questions are bilingual (Hindi and English) except the language papers, which are set in the language concerned only.
