Basic eligibility paths
- A GATE-2026 score is mandatory: Chemical maps to GATE paper CH, Mechanical to ME, Civil to CE and Electrical to EE.
- Candidates who passed out in 2024 or earlier are not eligible; final-year students whose results fall between April and June 2026 may apply but must finally reach 65%.
- A candidate may apply for only one post — either MT (Construction) or MT (other than Construction).
- Only Indian nationals may apply, and the OBC-NCL certificate must be valid as on the closing date of 13 Apr 2026.
