Basic eligibility paths
- Knowledge of Konkani is an essential qualification for every post in the advertisement, and knowledge of Marathi is desirable.
- Where suitable candidates with knowledge of Konkani are not available, the Commission may recommend an otherwise fit candidate, and the Government may relax the requirement on the Commission's recommendation for Group 'A' posts in professional colleges and Consultants in the Directorate of Health Services.
- The prescribed educational qualifications are the minimum, and the advertisement states that merely possessing them does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
- Applications are filed online through the Commission's website or the Government of Goa portal at cbes.goa.gov.in, after reading the 'Instructions' published on the Commission's website.
- The email address and mobile number must be given in the application because the Commission sends all communication about the application to them; candidates are told to check their email, mobile and the Commission's website regularly.
