Basic eligibility paths
- The Board runs separate papers by teaching subject - the June 2026 admit-card page names Special Educator, JBT, TGT (Arts), TGT (Medical), TGT (Non-Medical), TGT (Sanskrit), Punjabi and Urdu.
- Under section 23(1) of the RTE Act 2009 a teacher eligibility test pass is a minimum qualification for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII.
- Confirm qualifying marks, relaxations and fee in the Board's bulletin for the session applied for.
Relaxations & certificates
- SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and ex-servicemen relaxations follow the applicable notification.
- Always check the certificate format and cut-off date in the official notice.
