- Manipur Police publishes each post's rules on its recruitment page as a Recruitment Rules notification before a cycle opens - the page currently carries only draft amendments for other ranks, so no Sub-Inspector or Constable eligibility is asserted here.
- The only settled rules now on that page are the Recruitment Rules for the post of Inspector of Police (Legal), carried with a corrigendum dated 12 May 2026; the other entries are draft amendments for Additional Superintendent of Police (MT), Inspector of Police (28 Aug 2022) and Head Constable (Fitter) (22 Jun 2022), and none of them covers Sub-Inspector or Constable. The Inspector (Legal) rules PDF is a scanned image, so no age, qualification or pay scale is restated from it.
