- Education
- 10th · ITI / Diploma Matriculation with at least 50% aggregate marks plus an NCVT/SCVT ITI (National or State Trade Certificate) in the notified trade. For Laboratory Technician (Pathology) and Laboratory Technician (Radiology) the merit list uses Matriculation plus Class 12 science marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Age
- Not below 15 and not above 24 years as on the closing date, per para 7.1 of the notification, with upper-age relaxation of five years for SC/ST, three years for OBC and ten years for PwBD candidates. Relaxations and cut-off dates are category-specific.
- Application fee
- ₹100 non-refundable, paid online; SC, ST, PwBD, EBC and women candidates are exempt. A correction to a submitted application costs ₹50 each time. Use the official payment instructions only.
- Pay
- A monthly stipend at the prescribed rates — the notification records the current minimum for NTC/STC holders as ₹9,600 per month with effect from 11 Sep 2025, rising to ₹10,560 and ₹11,040 where second- and third-year exemptions apply. Gross and in-hand pay vary by posting and allowance.

Basic eligibility paths
- Only one application per candidate is allowed; submitting more than one disqualifies the candidate.
- Merit is the average of Matriculation and ITI percentage marks; ties are broken in favour of the older candidate, then the earlier matriculation pass.
- Candidates are shortlisted for document verification at 1.5 times the notified slots, unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise.
- Candidates finally enlisted must produce original testimonials and a medical certificate in the prescribed form.
Relaxations & certificates
- SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and ex-servicemen relaxations follow the applicable notification.
- Always check the certificate format and cut-off date in the official notice.

Syllabus snapshot
- There is no written examination. Engagement is decided entirely on the academic merit formula in para 4 of the notification and on successful document verification.
