Who can apply?
A readable first check—not a legal eligibility decision.
Basic eligibility paths
- A separate application and a separate fee are required for each pay level, because CEN 02/2026 holds a separate CBT for each level.
- Only one RRB may be chosen per pay level, and that choice is final; applying to more than one RRB for the same level rejects all those applications.
- For Level-2 Technician posts, CEN 02/2026 does not accept an engineering diploma or degree in lieu of ITI or Course Completed Act Apprenticeship unless the post parameter says so.
- Medical standards run from A-3 to C-1 depending on the category, and CEN 02/2026 gives no alternative appointment to a candidate found medically unsuitable.
Relaxations & certificates
- SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and ex-servicemen relaxations follow the applicable notification.
- Always check the certificate format and cut-off date in the official notice.
