- 18 to 27 years as on 1 Jul 2025 (born between 2 Jul 1998 and 1 Jul 2007); relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and further relaxation for Ex-Servicemen, sportspersons, departmental Delhi Police candidates and widows/divorced women, as detailed in the notice. Relaxations and cut-off dates are category-specific.

Basic eligibility paths
- Indian citizen.
- Passed 10+2 with Science & Mathematics, or holds the specified NTC trade certificate, as on the closing date of the online application.
- Age 18–27 years as on 1 Jul 2025, with category and departmental-candidate relaxations described in the notice.
- Must clear the qualifying Physical Endurance and Measurement Test standards (race, long jump, high jump, height, chest) prescribed for male and female candidates.
