Basic eligibility paths

- Paper-II (Graduate Teacher, classes VI-VIII) requires graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or graduation/post-graduation with 50% plus B.Ed, or the 4-year B.El.Ed or integrated B.Ed-M.Ed routes.
- TRBT allows 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks for SC, ST and PH candidates, treats knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok as desirable, and requires a Tripura Permanent Residence Certificate for state teacher recruitment.
Relaxations & certificates
- SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and ex-servicemen relaxations follow the applicable notification.
- Always check the certificate format and cut-off date in the official notice.
